1. On February 23, 2021, Twetch developed its first non-fungible token (NFT) on the Bitcoin SV (BSV) network, titled the “Rare Fox”. The transaction can be found via a BSV block explorer at the transaction hash: c9153509e259183291ea4bc06e690e4270c0a112430dc3a1eb0345df34099e13.
2. This test token used a pointer to associate an image posted on-chain by artist Kristofer McDermott (aka Kriztix, u29118) that can be found at this TX hash: 37a6cc9cf9a4aa6b5f21e4331695fffa4f2096356b9c663d696639b3cc07e7e1.
3. The Rare Fox test token also pointed to a video file posted on-chain by the Artist that can be found at this TX hash: cb469d53ef50a8451e9bd9830407ed2744e981657bdf63f0a8a22d59e57a9303.
Since this NFT was created for internal test purposes, it was not publicly advertised or sold. While some of these tokens might be accessible, most seem to have been lost in testing and have not surfaced on the secondary market.
4. On December 2, 2021, Rare Candy, a partner of Twetch, issued it’s own test token to test its rapid mint process. This test token, used the same hash pointer as the original Rare Fox token, and was titled the “Turbo Fox”. Sixty-Nine tokens were issued at the hash: e15b52f68fc896ef554c18e2225294bf0d63644cc244ac33e955d0901902b1fa.
5. The Turbo Fox tokens were never publicly advertised, and thus their existence remained largely unknown to the broader community. The use of the image and video for internal testing purposes was a covered use under the Twetch Terms & Conditions existing at all relevant times.
6. On March 14, 2022, using information sourced on a BSV block explorer, several NFT enthusiasts found a webpage where several Turbo Fox tokens were accessible for purchase by the public at a nominal price. These users purchased the available tokens.
These users subsequently distributed some tokens as gifts to active community members, and sold others to collectors in the NFT market as collectible test tokens from Twetch and Rare Candy.
7. On April 4, 2022, Twetch and Rare Candy revoked access upon request of the Artist, as the artist sought compensation and credit for the artwork that was the subject of the hash in the Test tokens.
8. On April 19, 2022, the Artist came to an agreement to permit the sale and transactions of the Turbo Fox tokens in exchange for BSV compensation and several of the Turbo Fox tokens.
9. In October 2022, Twetch reactivated the Turbo Fox tokens for transactions in the Twetch wallet, including listed the items for sale. However, there is currently no Twetch affiliated market for prospective buyers to find listed items.
10. On December 28, 2022, turbofox.org was announced on Twetch at the hash: 389a95a5ebc02c77b45160f3641d88d8abd937336d38df09f5b9dfef2701375e.
